Events & organized activities
Beyond booking a court, venues run events, courses, classes, services, tournaments, and leagues you can join on Thril.
Thril isn't only about booking a court for yourself. Venues and organizers use Thril to run all kinds of activities you can join. Here's a quick tour of what you might come across.
Events
One-off happenings put on by a venue, such as a social mixer, a themed night, an open day, or a special session. Browse upcoming events, see who's going, and register (and pay, if there's a fee) right in the app.
Courses
Structured, multi-session programs, such as a beginners' padel course or a coaching clinic that runs over several weeks. Join a course to secure your spot across all its sessions.
Classes & group fitness
Scheduled sessions like group fitness, yoga, pilates, or crossfit. Sign up for a class to reserve your place, and find everything you've booked under My activities.
Services
Some venues offer bookable services, where you book a person and a time rather than just a court. Typical examples include private coaching, lessons, personal training, and racket or club fitting.
You'll find these under a venue's Services tab. To book one:
- Choose the service you want.
- Pick a duration, if more than one is offered.
- Choose an available time.
- Pay, and your service booking appears in My activities alongside everything else.
Each service has its own cancellation deadline, shown when you book it and in the booking details, so you'll always know by when you can cancel. See Booking & event terms.
Tournaments
Competitive play with a bracket and matches. Join a tournament, follow your progress, and see your results as the rounds play out.
Leagues
Season-long competition with structured rounds and matches against other players or teams. Join a league to take part over a longer stretch and track how you're doing.
Finding activities
Organized activities show up on the relevant venue pages and in your Explore tab. Once you've joined something, it lands in My activities alongside your bookings, so everything you're taking part in lives in one place.
If an event is full: waitlists
When an event is fully booked, the venue may offer a waitlist. Join it to hold your place in line; if a spot opens up, you're moved in automatically and notified. You can leave the waitlist at any time.
Joining, leaving & terms
Each activity comes with the venue's own terms, covering whether and when you can leave, whether participation is binding once confirmed, and how payment works. You'll see them before you join and in the activity's details. For the full picture, see Booking & event terms and Cancellations & refunds.
What's next
These activities are all organized by venues and clubs. Looking for an informal, player-organized game instead? That's a Pickup, Thril's community feature for players.
